Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas

(I also wish those of other faiths and religions of the world the best of the Holy Days and a prosperous New Year.)

Hi, everyone.  Chuck Whetstone here.

I wanted to be the first to wish you Happy Holidays.

I know I'm a little early.

 I said, "Sure, Cap.  Why?"

 Cap said, "Our family has decided to spend our Christmas on you.  Instead of buying each other presents we want to buy you a new suit."

 I was floored!

 What could I do but humble myself and meet him at the store on Sunset Avenue.

 He met me there and purchased a 3 piece suit (I had always wanted one), a new shirt and tie! 
 He also wanted to buy me a pair of shoes and socks but I talked him out of it.

 I wore that suit proudly for several years.  It meant so much to me for Cap, Mabel and the children to give me their Christmas.

 I am still blessed today ... 34 years later!
