How to Build A Business and Still Have A Life
I remember my first introduction to MLM, Direct Sales,
Work-From-Home, or whatever you want to call it.
It was in the early 60's.
Can you imagine what was available back then?
Amway!
My dad hosted a party at our small house in south Texas.
I remember someone drawing circles on a poster board or
chalk board [I don't think we had white boards back then!]
.
I also remember a can of shoe shine and various soap products
that my parents purchased.
That was my first exposure to marketing.
Of course, my mom has always purchased Avon products from
someone at church or down the street.
I grew up with various "soap-on-a-rope" and cologne decanters.
As an adult I have purchased from my friends, too.

Fast Forward to the Present, --
technology has advanced at the speed of light!
There are still some Direct Sales organizations that sell soap.
We all need soap.
But the model has changed for selling soap.
Now, back to How to Build a Business and Still Have A Life...
A friend of mine asked me why I joined Empower Network and
didn't stay with his 90 Day Challenge organization. Here's my answer:
"I didn't want to have shake parties in my house every week."
