big day for retailers the day after Thanksgiving.

I was shocked when I went to Amazon.com and saw they had a "Countdown to Black Friday" clock running.  It was humorous.

In past years I have participated in the early morning shopping sprees at local
department and electronic stores.

My son-in-law loves it!   And he picks up some good buys when he goes out.

Last year, a friend of mine stood in line for a long time to get a good deal
on an Apple iPad.  He even posted a picture on Facebook of him and some
others waiting patiently to spend $499.00.

I, personally, like to make my purchases on Cyber Monday from the comfort
of my home office drinking coffee getting ready for work.

I picked up a great deal on 1 TB external storage unit.  I haven't seen the prices
that low since that time, but, I anticipate record low prices this year.

Tablets & eReaders
The race is on to build the smallest, or biggest, fastest, and best visually looking
tablets and eReaders.
Apple's iPad is growing smaller.  I'm sure Kindle will get larger!
You should be able to pick up some good bargains. Compare prices

HDTVs
Don't you love the new TVs? They are getting larger and less expensive
each year and 2012 is no different.
You'll be able to get great bargains on 32 inch models, as well as larger ultra-
slim models that are more energy efficient with stunning displays.


Laptops & Desktops
Everyone needs a home computer, even though you can do most
everything on your smart phone. Pick up a new one as a gift.

Computer Peripherals
All-in-One Printers, speakers systems, external storage units,
widescreen displays

Smartphones
Man, the competition is really stiff.  I just wish the data rates I
pay were just as competitive.  I mean, wouldn't it be great if
your monthly phone charges were $39 plus tax, instead of
$89.00 plus tax?

You can expect markdowns by all the best phones out there.
If you're not locked into a 2 year contract pick up a great price
on a great phone this November.

GPS Systems
I'm really surprised that GPS units are still viable on the electronics
market.  Most smartphones have GPS units included as a feature.
But, I can see the value of having a stand alone unit in your car
with all the feature you'll normally find from Garmin and others.

Audio & Video
BluRay players are the rage.  Expect the prices to be sharply lower than
last year.  Plus, you'll get some real steals on actual movies for your
collection.

Video Games
I'm not into gaming, so I have no real comment here. But, as Black Friday
sales have indicated in the past, you'll get a great deal on all the new
video game consoles from the best manufacturers.
And don't forget the games that go into those players!

Toys
And, last but not least, the toys!  Who doesn't love toys?

Every kid loves toys.  And you know what? Every kid
grows up to be an adult that loves toys.
