How To Go From Struggle To Wealth

How To Go From Struggle To Wealth

Hey, Chuck Whetstone here....

We just did a conference in San Diego with over

3,000 people.
My partner, Tony Rush did an amazing segment on

"How To Go From 'Struggle' To Wealth"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9fqxAU6HNw
It's a topic I know something about.

I struggled for years.

And when I discovered what

it really takes to go from "broke and struggling"...
...to earning over $60,000 per month....

....I was absolutely amazed to discover that

99% of the work was simply changing my mind...

I'm not talking about any weird New Agey stuff.

I'm not talking about "law of attraction".

I'm talking about a very simple "shift" in my

thinking....that allowed me to go from "struggle"....
....to getting results almost immediately.

==> You can discover how to do this, too.

I just uploaded it to YouTube. You can watch it here:

"How To Go From 'Struggle' To Wealth"

I think it's only about 15 minutes. I hope you enjoy it!

Positive or Negative

Positive or Negative

I was thinking about this today ...

How there are so many things that are positive and so many things that are negative.

A few examples ...
  • When you are considering making a job change, or making a purchase, many people say to "Weigh the Pros and Cons."  They say to make a list of all the Positive things, and then make a list of all the Negative factors.  Then compare the two lists.
    Empower Network
    Positive or Negative.

  • Batteries have a positive and negative pole
  1. Car batteries
  2. Flashlight batteries
  3. Watch batteries
  4. Cell phone batteries

  • Atoms - some of the smallest elements in the universe have positive and negative ions and protons.

  • People with attitudes
Have you noticed that everyone has an attitude?

Some have positive, uplifting attitudes.

Others have negative, nasty attitudes.

Now we shouldn't pigeon-hole people and categorize them as Always being positive, or Always being negative.

Most of us are a mixed bag.  I don't know of too many people that are 100% anything, including their attitude.

But, if someone is continually negative you might start to form an opinion of that person.

Do you remember in elementary school when you started learning about addition and subtraction?  What symbols did we use to represent each one?
+       for addition
-       for subtraction

How do we symbolize the poles on a battery?     +      and      -

My comment would be this:

The more POSITIVE  a person is, the more that person is adding to their life, your life, and the universe.

In the same way ...

The more NEGATIVE a person is you'll notice a negative impact all the way around.

Positive or Negative?

Did you know that our attitudes are part of our emotions.

Many times our disposition is a choice.

If you are sometime down and negative about anyone, including yourself, or your job or the economy, or anything ...

I want you to take a moment and say, "Today I choose to look on the bright side.  Today I choose to be happy.  Today I am going to be encouraged.  Today I'm going to be a blessing to someone else."

The Bible says in Psalm 118:24 Amplified Bible (AMP)
This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

We will.

Say, I WILL!

Today you have a choice either to be Positive or Negative.  Choose correctly!

How ONLY 85 Cents Can Change Your Life

How ONLY 85 Cents Can Change Your Life

I used to work with someone who had a habit of going to the soda machine every afternoon.  Every day they would insert $1.25 into the machine and make a selection.  A 20 ounce bottle of pop would come out and they would be satisfied the rest of the afternoon.

I started thinking one day how much this person was spending per week on drinks. Let's just say it was 4 days a week.  That's $5.00 per week!

I also knew from my experience working in a grocery store that this colleague of mine could buy a 12 pack of pop for under $3.88 or less, and usually a lot lower than that.

Tonight I started thinking about the cost of Empower Network's Viral Blogging System.

Did you know you could get started today with a plug and play Blog for only $25.00? That's less than 85 cents per day! This is already set up for you.  You just have to start blogging!

85 cents?

My Stride chewing gum costs more than that!  My cappuccino from Circle K costs $1.40 including tax.  There is hardly anything on the 89 cent value menu at Taco Bell.  Even a McDouble at McD's costs $1.00.

I want to tell you How ONLY 85 Cents Can Change Your Life!

It's changed mine!

I got in at the $25.00 level and I started blogging, not really knowing what I was doing.   But I followed the 8 Core Commitments in the Fast Start Training.

Some of the results I've been able to achieve?  I've gained about 100 leads and as many as 15 in one day.

I not only have the wonderful hosting of Empower Network for my blogs, but I also post them to Google's Blogger.  I've had over 820 views, with lots of "likes" and comments.

Even Facebook selected one of my blogs for a "Trending Article."

Several of my blogs have made it to the 1st page of Google!

And it all started with less than 85 cents a day.

How can ONLY 85 Cents Can Change Your Life?

Seriously, for $25.00 you get a proven Viral Blogging System, totally setup and ready to go.  And you get the ability to start your own business and help others get started for less than 85 cents a day.
David Wood & David Sharpe
David Wood & David Sharpe

What's in the box?
  • Includes basic access to the 8 Videos in the Fast Start Training, a viral blogging and marketing system and the ability to earn monthly $25 commissions instantly deposited into your bank account from members who join at the basic level.

When my wife and I go to the Warren Theaters for a movie it will cost $14.00 to get in for a matinee.  We share a large drink for $5.00.  And if we eat a meal that's another $18.00.  That's $37.00 without buying the proverbial popcorn or Junior Mints!

Can your life change?  Truly, and you can do it for less than 85 cents a day.

Honestly, aren't you worth it?  Don't you have dreams of a better life for yourself and your family?  Certainly you do.

Fall Is In The Air

Fall Is In the Air

Where I live we're supposed to have 4 seasons, but it seems like Fall and Spring are very short.
The one constant factor?  Change.

Even a little Fall is better than no Fall at all!

And I love the Change!

I grew up in south Texas where the gulf breeze blew almost everyday. I remember in September, October or November we would get what my dad would call, "A Blue Norther."

Most times we would just say "Norther" for short.

The clouds would get darker.  The wind would blow out of the north instead of the south and east.  Sometimes it would rain. Sometimes not.  The air would get a certain feel and smell.  You knew it was a Norther!

The Norther created Change.  Change in the "normal" temperature and status of my little home town.

I live in Oklahoma now "where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain."  Over this past weekend we had a cold front move through.  Maybe two of them.  It rained a little and cooled things down.

But the front that came through yesterday was dry. No rain.

And today was amazing!

We even had an outdoor Lawnchairs and CR in the front lawn of our church.  We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.  Me and the worship team led them 8 great songs.

We "cranked" it up and played loud.  It was fun and the people enjoyed it.

We did the normal Celebrate Recovery things like reading the 8 Principles and the Chip Ceremony.  We even had a fantastic testimony from a guy that was into drugs and a life in prison but God set him free.  It was awesome.

Then we served watermelon!  Everyone had a good time.

Oh, it was amazing and the weather was fabulous.  The front that came through kept the temperature nice all day with a nice soft breeze.  Not the brutal winds that we get in winter.

So, I'm describing Change. Two weeks ago we had temps in the 100's.  Today was in the high 70's.  Fantastic weather.

Fall is in the air.  That's for sure.

Sunset
Oklahoma Sunset

Change has come and it's been good to break from the high temps and the statewide burn ban.

But do you know what?  It will change again.

In 3 months it will be Christmas.  It will be cold.  There may be snow and ice.

Change is coming!

That is the one constant of life.  Change.

As you realize in your own life that Fall is in the Air, may you embrace the Change that is coming and the Change that is taking place.

You're only young once.  In fact, you are never the same age more than one second of your life.  That is astounding.  You are always growing older.  Every second.

Change is coming.  As we vote for the future President of the United States will we get 4 more years of Obama or a fresh 4 years of Romney?

Either way ... Change is coming.

Fall is in the Air.  Change is coming.

Is your income and lifestyle better than it was 4 years ago?  I don't know about you but I'm paying about $30.00 more per week per vehicle on fuel.  That stinks.

That takes money away from other areas.  Change has come.

I want you to consider working with me in Empower Network.

I believe it is one of the best things I have done in my own life to prepare for the change that is coming.

I want you to click on the banner.  Put in your best email.  Click on some of the videos.  Watch. Observe. Learn.

Fall is in the air.  Change is coming.  Join me and together we can embrace Change.

I'm Weird and It's My Destiny

I'm Weird and It's My Destiny

I'm Weird and I plan on staying that way!
Chuck Whetstone
Chuck Whetstone
Now, does that mean I'm an alien from another planet?
Perhaps... but let's check out the definition from the Oxford Dictionaries of Oxford University Press

adjective

  • 1. suggesting something supernatural; unearthly: weird, inhuman sounds
  • informal very strange; bizarre: a weird coincidence all sorts of weird and wonderful characters
  • 2.  archaic connected with fate.

noun

archaic, chiefly Scottish
a person’s destiny.
Copyright © 2012 Oxford University Press. All rights reserved.

So, it could be that I'm supernatural or unearthly, or very strange and bizarre.  But I choose to pick the archaic use of the word as a noun and declare that...

... I'm Weird and it's my destiny!

A few years ago my wife and I drove down to Austin, TX for a worship conference.  There were signs and billboards all over town that said,  Keep Austin Weird.

They know that their town is a unique place to visit and to live.  And if you are going to move there they really don't want you to change it.  They want it left just as it is - Weird.

And that's why I said in my opening statement - I'm Weird and I plan on staying that way!

I'm Weird because I spend more time on my Empower Network part-time business than I do watching TV.

Have I always been this way?  Not until recently.

I used to come home from my ministry job and climb into my recliner with a Dr. Pepper and the daily crossword puzzle.  I could sit there for most of the night doing the crossword and watching TV.

Of course, I would visit with my wife, but sometimes she would be in her bedroom watching her TV while I was in the living room doing my thing.

I made a decision to curtail the amount of TV I watch and spend quality time now on my part-time business.  It's not a big sacrifice.

I mean, how many reruns of Seinfeld, Friends, or I Love Lucy, or Everybody Loves Raymond can you watch?  You probably have most of the gags memorized!  I don't know one episode of MASH or Bonanza that's going to make me any money!

I'm Weird because I spend more time listening to the Inner Circle audios of Empower Network than I do listening to Talk Radio.

I live in Oklahoma City, OK and I used to turn on KTOK AM 1000 every morning in my truck.  I would listen on the way to the church.  I would toggle between Glen Beck and KOKC AM 1520. And at lunch or whenever I was in the truck I was listening.

When my wife and I would travel in her car on long trips I would almost beg her to let me listen to Rush or Hannity.  I was addicted.

But, now, I am listening to encouraging, inspirational, and motivational interviews and teachings on how to do my business better.

I'm Weird because I want to let my wife retire, get out of debt, pay off my mortgage, and have a retirement income.

I'm Weird because I want to help other people to become just like me.   I want other people to achieve their dreams.  I want to help other people to be successful no matter their race, religion or skin color.  I want them to be Weird.

Weird is the NEW Normal.

I'm Weird and It's My Destiny!  I'm gonna be like Austin ... Keep Chuck Weird!

My Favorite Gospel Songs of All Time

My Favorite Gospel Songs of All Time

David Wood, co-founder of Empower Network, says
1) Blog Daily 2) Tell Others 3) Get Paid.
He teaches us to write a blog every day. He even tells us that if we are religious we should write something with a religious theme or context on Sunday.  The point is that we should do this discipline every day, even on our Sabbaths and holidays.
So, it at the end of a busy Sunday.  You see, that is my Sabbath day.  And I'm a minister.  I get to enjoy my Sunday, but it is also a "work day."
But, you see, I don't mind.  I'm a Music Pastor and I get to play and sing some great music every week with wonderful musicians and vocalists.  These dear people are all volunteers, giving of their time, talent and skill to help me lead our congregation in the worship of our God.
It is an awesome privilege that I have.  I love working with this group of devoted individuals.  And the songs we play and sing are some of the best ever written.
I've been singing hymns and gospel songs since I was a young boy.  I remember standing next to my dad while my sister played the piano.  We would sing some great songs together, and although I was a bit nervous I enjoyed it.

And so that brings me to write about some of My Favorite Gospel Songs of All Time.

These are in no particular order.
Amazing Grace
Nearer My God to Thee
Just a Closer Walk with Thee
I Surrender All
Trust and Obey
In the Garden
The Old Rugged Cross
When We All Get to Heaven
In the Sweet By and By
He Lives
Because He Lives (Gaither)
Shall We Gather At the River
In Christ There is No East or West
Be Still My Soul
Silent Night, Holy Night
What A Friend We Have in Jesus
Peace in the Valley
Take My Hand, Precious Lord (Thomas Dorsey
Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty
Great is Thy Faithfulness
This is My Father's World
What A Day That Shall Be (Hill)
Jesus Paid it All
Rock of Ages Cleft for Me
When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
He Arose
He's the Lily of the Valley
Standing in the Need of Prayer
Prayer is the Soul's Sincere Desire
A Child of God
What A Mighty God We Serve
Precious Memories
At the Cross
The Solid Rock
Heavenly Sunlight
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
There Shall Be Showers of Blessing

Top Ten Ways to Get What You Want

Top Ten Ways to Get What You Want

10. Decide what you want.
This would seem to be obvious.  But seriously, take a minute, or ten or a week and really think about what you want.  How can you get what you want if you don't know what you want?

I've heard it said that some people spend more time planning their one week summer vacation than they do planning their retirement.

Turn off the TV.  Shut off the phone.  Now. Is is quiet?

What do you really want?

Do you want a new house? to be rich?  to be a R.A.T. - retired at thirty? to get your MBA?  to own your own business?  to travel?

Figure out what you want then you can look at the other nine items in this list.

9.  Take massive action
This could be the #1 item here, but I placed it at #9.  When you know what you want, then, and only then are you qualified to move forward or toward that goal.  And moving forward might mean to take action.

But don't take just any action.  Take massive action.

Ramp it up.  If you have to start small, so be it.  But build, gain momentum and keep moving.

I heard Jon Mroz say today on an Inner Circle audio that we should do some kind of content everyday, whether it's write a blog, or make a video, or place an ad.  Do it everyday.

8.  Beg, Barter or Blog [Don't Steal]
Let's say you want to buy an iPad.  They are nice, but they cost money.  What is your plan on getting one if you don't have the cash on you now?

You could beg a favor of a loan from a friend or family member.

You could barter something of value that you have or just sell what you have and make the purchase.

Or you could Blog.  Empower Network has a Viral Blogging Systemthat starts at just $25.00 and has the potential to make you enough for an iPad on your first day or week.  Again, nothing is guaranteed, but the potential is certainly there and people have made that much money in their first week of blogging.
David Wood & David Sharpe
David Wood & David Sharpe

If there are Top Ten Ways to Get What You Want then what is next?

7.  Ask  6. Seek  5. Knock
I lumped these together because they are similar, but different.  Jesus talked about these in Matthew 7:7-8.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
The teachers of this era spoke this way. First He tells what to do, and then He tells the results.  He reprises it again, in case you missed it the first time, in vs 8:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Take away the King James jargon and it should make plenty of sense to you. Ask for what you want.  Seek what you want or need.  Knock - that means "Don't give up."  I've heard it said in the Greek it really means Knock and Keep On Knocking!

Ask - take initiative.  Ask the right people.  Ask for the right thing or amount.  If you don't ask why would anyone give you anything?  The same with seek.  If you aren't actively seeking or pursuing what you want how do you think you'll find it?

And knock - why would any door just open up for you?  But if you knock, and keep on knocking I believe that door will open.

4. Negotiate
When you negotiate you may not always get the whole pie, but maybe the piece(s) you really want or need.  The other fellow gets the rest.  Can you live with that?  Is a little bit of what you want okay with you for now?

3. Whine
Just kidding.  Only babies, and I mean infants and toddlers, try to get what they want by crying and whining.

Empower Network has a motto: No wussies allowed.

Now don't be offended.  It just means we don't have time for whiners, complainers, and people that make excuses.  End of story.

2. Get Educated
Sometimes you know what you want, but the best way to get it is to take massive action and get educated.  Does that mean going to college?  Maybe.  It might mean "getting all in" with Empower Network buy purchasing the Viral Blogging System, The Inner Circle,  The Costa Rica Intensive,  and The 15k Formula.

The last three products are some of the best training that I've ever heard on marketing, and specifically internet marketing.  It is a massive amount of audio and video presented by some of the industry's top leaders and earners.

Get All In today!  Get Started for just $25.00.

1. Take the First Step Today
You know what you want. You want to take massive action.
The way to do that is to begin ... Today ...  Right now.

The Most Often Asked Question

The Most Often Asked Question

The most often asked question I get is "What Do You Blog About?"

In the last several weeks of being an active blogger I have written on a variety of subjects.  Some of the blogs are short.  Some are lengthy.

Some of the ideas came from experiences I had during the day.

Some came from reflections of my life.

Others were inspired "on location."  Just by being in downtown Memphis was inspiring, so I wrote 2 blogs and made 2 videos. One was about Foundations and one was about Groove.

One of the 8 Core Commitments we keep in Empower Network is to blog daily.  Somedays I've not been faithful.  Other days I've posted 3 or more blogs.

But what if I'm not inspired?  Or better yet, what if I'm asked The Most Often Asked Question?

What do you blog about?

Here are a few things you can use as idea starters, especially if you are new to blogging or you've hit a plateau.

Use these ideas to jump start your blogging today!
  • Series - Pick a topic and do a series of articles or blogs on the same subject.  I was writing about the trouble I had with my vocal cords.  It was so long that I decided to turn it into Part 1 and Part 2.  You can find them here: Pt1      Pt2

  • Theme - Pick one of your favorite themes such Working From Home, Mother and Children, Love, Religion.  I recently wrote about Weird Songs.  Being a musician and songwriter I was able to blog about the funny, strange, and weird songs and song titles that have been penned.

  • Top Ten - I used to love to stay up and watch David Letterman do his Top Ten every night. He always had fun.  Many times he would have famous people do cameos and be part of the Top Ten.  Don't limit it to Ten.  How about The Top 5 Places to Eat in OKC.  Or The Top 6 places to visit on Route 66.  I wrote a blog on a Top Ten theme.

  • Hobby- What are you good at?  Can you blog about sewing or other craft that you might love?  Write a blog or make a video on "How To".  People are always intrigued by how things are made, created, and maintained.
    Empower Network

    How To

  • Passion - What is your Passion?  Do you love to teach?  Do you desire to see other people helped?  Do you want to clean up the environment?  Do you want to help the homeless or feed the needy?  You can easily write about what inspires you.  What makes you tick?  What gives you the greatest fulfillment in life?

I hope this blog has been helpful.  It has helped me as I have tried to answer The Most Often Asked Question?

The Face of Leadership

The Face of Leadership

Our staff is reading a leadership book together called The Truth About Leadership by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner.

Their premise is that over their years of research there are 10 truths about leadership that have not changed.  I've read a lot of books on leadership including many from Dr. John C. Maxwell. This is going to be a good book for us.

The first truth that they present is: Truth #1 - You Make A Difference

How do you make a difference in those that you are trying to lead? I believe that you  make a difference by spending time with them.

What does The Face of Leadership look like?

Last week my wife and I were privileged to be with 24 others from our church at the Jewel Box Theater in Oklahoma City.  This was a group of mainly senior citizens.

We were attending the Sunday afternoon matinee of the Broadway musical, Cats. It lasted a couple of hours and included a short intermission.

The Jewel Box is a small theater that might hold 150 people.  The audience seating makes almost a complete circle inside the small round building. So, the "stage" is really mostly the floor in the center part of the room and just a small stage at one part of the room.

There is no sound system needed which was very refreshing.  Being a musician and a Music Pastor at my church I deal with sound systems and technology every week.

David Wood & David Sharpe
In this small room the actors didn't need microphones and PA speakers.  Now, there was someone playing a keyboard and drums.  I'm not sure if it was recorded or someone played live.  But, that was the only sound coming out of small, hidden speakers.  Everything else was the natural human voice!

The actors and actresses did a great job singing, dancing, doing ballet and even tap!  Their costumes were pretty impressive and after you got used to it they started looking like cats!  They certainly acted like cats.

We enjoyed the songs and the choreography.  These were all local actors and actresses of all ages.  Some were in high school.  Others in college.  Others were older adults.

I was able to visit with several of the church group during the intermission and afterwards.  Some of them thanked me for bringing them there.  Actually, I just coordinated the reservations and collected the money.  I didn't do anything fancy.

One of them said something like "I hope we aren't too much trouble for you."  Trouble?  It is a joy to be with these people.

These people paid for their own tickets [except for the little that the church chipped in] and they carpooled together using their own gas.

The only thing I did was take a little of my time and invest it in them.  I just spent a few hours with them and I'm the hero!

My wife and I took many of the same people on a train ride down to Ft.Worth, Texas last May.  Again, we didn't do anything, but spend time with these wonderful people.

So, one of the faces of leadership is just spending time with people.

It might not cost you a dime, but it will cost you part of your week and part of your life.

What will be the end result?  People will love you and they'll want to follow you.  What could be better than that?

So, as you spend time with others you are putting on The Face of Leadership!

Top Ten Ways to Work From Home

Top Ten Ways to Work From Home

1. Do something you love to do
Do you love to teach?  Become a private tutor.
Do you love to write?  Then start a blog.  You can actually blog and get paid for it with Empower Network.

David Wood & David Sharpe

2. Do something that will help others
Start a service company that will be beneficial to others such as, shopping for others, planning events, house sitting while people are on vacation, caring for the elderly...

3. Turn your hobby into your job
You like to play golf? You like to fish? Become a golf pro/instructor or a fishing guide. Whatever your hobby is others will pay to learn how you do it, or buy your crafts and wares that you market.
I have a friend that is a gifted artist and musician. He and his wife design logos and make t-shirts in their art barn.  They make money in their own back yard!

4. "Hire" your family members
Don't make slaves of your family members, but if the children can box up your widgets for you go ahead and let them.  If your daughter can type up an invoice put her to work.  If your husband can take your parcels down to FedEx let him do it.

5.  Duplicate what you do
There was a great movie called Multiplicity (1996) - IMDb directed by Harold Ramis and starring Michael Keaton, Andie MacDowell. It's about a man who never has enough time for the things he wants to do but is offered the chance to have himself duplicated or cloned.

Henry Ford made automation a reality.  Because of his ingenuity we became an "auto -nation."  He learned to reproduce cars quickly and efficiently by using the assembly line. You can do the same thing.

Create systems that will save you time in the long run.  Video tape yourself giving a lecture.  Promote that as a Study Course and get paid for it.  That way you are reproducing yourself without killing yourself or your family.

6. Be consistent everyday
Follow a schedule. Even if you work in your pajamas and drink coffee you need to sit at the desk or laptop and get productive daily.

7. Show up for WORK
Everyone dreams of working from home on their own schedule and no "boss" looking over their shoulder.  You may want to wear shorts and a t-shirt or have time to sunbathe by the pool, or have an extended lunch break without getting penalized or yelled at.

When you choose to work from home just remember that it is Work.  A four letter word.  The old adage says
Plan your work and work your plan!

8. Learn to eat beans before you eat lobster!
When working from home you may have to start out with a macaroni & cheese mindset before you realize a "Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous."

I'm not saying you have to give up anything, but, when getting your business off the ground you may have to cut back on some things so that you can enjoy other things later.

Dave Ramsey says, “If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else.”

9. Take time for yourself
Yes, work is work.  There is no two ways around it.  But if you are working for yourself be sure to plan some down time.  Some "me" time.  Some get away time.

It's OK to have a day off.  It's alright to go on vacation.  Put these into your schedule.  Treat yourself even if it means just going to a park and reading a book.

Blogging to Change Lives
Empower Network

Easy is Never Before

Easy is Never Before The word Rich,

except in the dictionary.

As I've been blogging and marketing with Empower Network I've noticed a few things.  Some people think if they write a few blogs that they will get rich.

Empower Network says
  1. Blog Daily
  2. Tell Others
  3. Get Paid
You'll see in that list that Getting Paid is last.  You don't Get Paid, or get Rich, if you don't do the first two
items.

In Empower Network we only get paid on what we sell.  We get 100% commissions as a result of what we sell.

So, for the newbie blogger there is a disconnect from #1 and #3.  It's called #2 - Tell Others.
Telling Others is selling.  It's getting leads, telling your friends, making it known, putting out ads, publicizing.  In other words ... Marketing.

Let's say you are a farmer with a truck full of vegetables from your garden. You want to get rid of the produce and make some money.  What do you do? You take the truck and the produce to the Market.

The Market is where you go to make sales and come back home with cash in your hand instead of spinach leaves in the bed of your truck.

So, marketing the products of Empower Network is just a matter of telling others.  What do you tell them?

Tell them that Empower Network has a dynamic Viral Blogging System that anyone can use.  You don't have to be an internet Guru to write blogs, tell others and get paid.

Tell them that Empower Network is affordable.  You can Get Started today for only $25.00.  I don't know too many companies that allow you to be in business for yourself for only $25!

Tell them that Empower Network offers several products that would allow you to make as much money as you want.  But you'll have to commit to blogging daily and telling others.

Tell them that Empower Network's products are loaded with training on helping you to learn to Tell Others about your business, or any other business you may be in.

Can you get rich?  Yes.  Is it easy?  Easy is not in any of the steps that I've found. Keep reading.

Easy is Never Before The word Success,

except in the dictionary.

Being a musician I love to hear the stories of composers and songwriters who have a hit song recorded by someone famous, or they make it big on their own.

The stories are usually about the same:  songwriter works one or two jobs during the week. He/she writes songs.  Songwriter plays in small clubs, parties, receptions.  Repeat this for 10 - 20 years.

Suddenly their song is picked up and played on the radio and sold on iTunes and the rest is history.  The song and songwriter are "overnight" sensations.

Yeah, right.

Being faithful leads to success.  Being responsible leads to success.  Being diligent leads to success.
Can you be successful?  Yes.  Is it easy?  Easy is not in any of the steps that I've found. Keep reading.

Easy is Never Before The word Work,

except in the dictionary.

The Bible tells us about sowing and reaping.  It is really a principle of the universe, which I think God designed and showed us how things operate through His creation.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.

In this passage the Apostle Paul is sharing with us the principle of sowing and reaping in the Spiritual life. But is also true in everyday life.

If you sow [plant] watermelon seeds you will reap watermelons. If you plant an acorn you'll see a mighty oak grow right where you planted it. Whatever it is that you "sow" will result in a harvest of a similar kind.
If you sow love and friendship, you'll get love and friendship.

How is that with Empower Network, or any business venture?  If you do the work that is necessary by committing to Blog Daily and Tell Others; if you commit to the 8 Core Commitments; if you market the products . . . you will reap the rewards of customers and getting paid.

One thing about sowing.  You'll never find anything like the fable Jack and the Beanstalk.  Jack's seeds sprouted and grew overnight.  It's just not true.

If you sow today your harvest might not come for a week or month or year.  My customers of tomorrow are coming from the "sowing" that I am doing today.  Give it time.

Look at Vs 9 again.  It says Don't quit!  Don't give up!  Just because it takes work don't stop sowing.  Just because it's not easy don't throw in the towel.  Be patient.  You will reap if you sow.

So, finally the dictionary is a useful book and is full of words. But. . .

Easy is Never Before The words Rich, Success or Work except in the dictionary.

Fundamentals

Fundamentals

FundamentalsSports, music, education, religion, business and about any field you can think of has something called "The Basics."

The Basics are the building blocks of whatever endeavor you may be part of.

In other words, if you take a system and break it down to the basics, the bottom line will be the Fundamentals.

Sports Fundamentals

My son-in-law is a coach. When he works with the squads each year, no matter how much experience a player may have, he works on the Fundamentals.

What are the fundamentals of football?  Blocking, tackling, throwing, catching and running.  If a player can do these at the right time and in the right way they will be a great asset to the team and the team will have a chance to see great success.

My Experience with Basketball Fundamentals

When I was in the 7th grade I decided I would play basketball.  I had no idea what I was doing.  Each day I would show up for practice and the only thing I can remember is doing drills.
We would dribble the ball, throw the ball to each other in a "star" pattern, run up and down the court and practice free throws.
I was so out of place but I stuck with it.  Here was a chubby little boy in P.E. shorts and running shoes [back then they had a weird narrow sole] in south Texas learning to play basketball.  I didn't even know the rules.
So, one day we had to go play a real game.  Apparently the days or weeks of practice culminated in our getting on the bus and heading out of town to play our first game.
I remember getting dressed in the locker room.  The coach or manager handed out the jerseys.  Oh, my!  These were like tiny little tank top t-shirts.  I had to put one on and go out on the court in front of a crowd and a bunch of young teenage girls.  I was scared to death!
We went on the court and got to warm up a little bit.  Then they put the 5 starters on the floor and I got to sit on the bench.  That was a safe place because there were people (girls) in the stand right above and behind me.
The game progressed.  At some point the coach said, "Whetstone.  Go in!"  They told me to go down to the scorer's table to check in.  I had never seen that done or even heard of it before that moment.  It was on-the-job training!
The clock started and I was playing basketball, in public, in my very first game!  It was thrilling. Are you kidding?  I was scared.
I immediately got "cotton mouth."  Have you ever had that?  It is an extreme dryness.  I could hardly breath and could barely swallow.  That was like the first 10 seconds on the court.
The next thing I know someone gives me the ball.  What were the Fundamentals that we worked on?  Dribbling, shooting, passing.
Guess what?  I've got the ball and the only thing I know to do is take a shot at the basket!
Well, I missed the shot, but I was fouled.  The ref blew the whistle.  He told the other guy to raise his hand since he had fouled me.  What did I do?  I raised my hand, too.
The ref had me go to the free throw line.  He said "Two shots."  I thought that to be strange since the other guy only hit me once!
Nevertheless, I took my first free-throw and missed.  The ref gave me the ball for a second time.  It could have been a scene from the movie "Hoosiers."  NOT!
I took my second shot and it went in the basket!  Everyone clapped (well on my team) and I heard the buzzer go off.  The coach immediately put in the starter who's place I had taken.  I was relieved and happy at the same time!
That was the end of my basketball career.  One game.  One point. I quit after that game.  It wasn't my sport!  But the Fundamentals I had worked on paid off and I was able to contribute to my team's effort.

What are some of the other Fundamentals?

Music Fundamentals

Scales, notes, counting, finger positions, time signatures, practicing

Education Fundamentals

Reading, writing, arithmetic

Religion Fundamentals

Praying, meditation, devotion, reading the Holy Scriptures, making disciples,

Business Fundamentals
