How to be Broke, Confused and Frustrated

I heard the same thing tonight at church. My friend, Bobby, was talking
about his mind being like a sieve and how he had to constantly be
putting in good, positive content in order to keep his mind filled with the right things.
John said something amazing tonight. He said,
Your income is the average of what your closest five friends earn.
That blew me away! And it tells me something.
Don't get me wrong. I love my friends, but I want to
make a heck of a lot more than they are making now.
You see, I know How to be Broke, Confused and Frustrated!
John said
Become the cause in your own life!
Be the reason you do what you do.
Do it for yourself.
Do it for your family.
Be determined right now not to live like some of your family members have in the past.
Look, both sets of my grandparents lived in near poverty.
One set lived in Government Housing. I loved them, but it made me
"sick" to have to go there as a youngster.
Don't get me wrong. They were great people.
I just didn't like where they lived and how they lived.
My parents changed that for me and my sister. I want to change that and have
changed that for my kids.
But I want to do more. Not that I'm greedy, but I want to be able to
help others.
Lastly, John said,
Decide who you are and be that!
